O filme promocional para o disco She's The Boss (1984), foi gravado originalmente nos estúdios Renato Aragão Produções em 1985 no Rio de Janeiro e não em 1987, ano de lançamento no exterior apenas. Além de cenas externas inclusive numa penitenciária desativada em Niterói e na gafieira Estudantina. Eu tinha apenas 21 aninhos na época e como fanático pelos Stones, jamais me esqueceria de quando Mick e toda a produção estiveram no Rio pra gravar o filme, logo após o maior festival de rock de todos os tempos, o primeiro Rock In Rio. Infelizmente o filme foi considerado um fracasso e jamais foi lançado oficialmente em dvd/blue-ray no Brasil. É possível encontrá-lo em VHS apenas em inglês no Amazon.com . Eu assisti diversas vezes em VHS, na época em que se alugava "filmes piratas" em locadoras, naquele tempo em que tínhamos que rebobinar a fita pra devolvê-la! hahah

This movie was one of the most entertaining stones vehicles ever put out by the Stone organization It went straight to video,which l always felt was a big mistake because that kept it from a lot of the general public,and l think thjey would have loved it had they the opertunity The buaety was , you didn't have to be a Stones fan to enjoy it , and l feel it would have only promoted the band,Mick solo career,etc.It was really very funny , I didn't care fore the misic much but it was easy to ignore

Esse clipe foi gravado em 84. Eu estava lá, em Paraty, com minha turma da faculdade de arquitetura (ufrj) fazendo um trabalho sobre as fachadas da cidade histórica e tivemos a sorte de vê-los gravando e passeando. Foi super simpático e sorridente conosco, garotada de 20 anos. A Jerry, mais reservada, mas tb simpática só andava de sombrinha, se protegendo do sol. Mas acho q o clipe só foi lançado bem dps, em 86. Bem, o google tá aí pra nos ajudar.... :-)

E ele gravou seu 1º disco solo 'She's the Boss
' em 1984 - que foi lançado em 19.02.85 cuja a musica 'Just another night' tornou-se o maior sucesso mundial deste disco e de sua carreira solo. Outra, que vez ou outra surge em rádios, é a balada 'Hard Woman'. Já o filme acima 'Running Out of Luck
' lançado em 1987, teve direção de Julien Temple. O elenco inclui, além de Jagger e Jerry Hall, nomes como Grande Otelo
, Norma Bengell, e o americano Dennis Hopper.

Para ter 100% de certeza só mesmo perguntando pro Mick Jagger, vou ligar pra ele mais tarde HAUAIAIIAAUAHAHAHAHHAA Mas deixarei o ano de lançamento ali na descrição com 1987, até que me apareça um fonte altamente segura dizendo que foi lançado em 85. Estou falando do lançamento do filme e não de sua filmagem!

Fã da banda eu tbem sou, tbem tenho a discografia, só não fui a todos os shows no Brasil pois a idade não me permitiu! =/
Sei do por q da filmagem, e a dúvida é na data de lançamento! Pesquisei em inúmeros sites, internacionais e nacionais, e em TODOS, eu disse todos os sites que pesquisei o ano de lançamento está 1987. Independente se filmou em 1985, ou em que ano ele filmou isso, mas o lançamento em 100% dos sites que olhei está como 1987, e não só no Brasil!

Mas então essa data de 1987 é do lançamento certo? Foi gravado em 85 e lançado em 87...acho que foi o que aconteceu =)

Foi lançado em 1987. Pesquisei por aí e confirmei a informação, portanto se vc diz que é de 85 mostre-me a fonte =)

I'm huge Stones fan, and a bigger fan of Keith's solo work, but Mick's albums have a special place in my collection. From "She's the Boss" right through "Goddess in the Doorway", he gives us excellent lyrics and very catchy, contemporary rhythms. The Glimmer Twins are binary stars, performing a cosmic waltz :-)

I dont think so. Sure they are getting older, but we are all getting older. I dont care if they have to come on stage with assistance, I still love these boys and always will. <3

I loved this album and discovered the video which runs the whole album while I was working in Brasil. Really funny, Mick sends himself up brilliantly and there is funny Brasilian stuff two like when he mixes with macumba (black magic) etc.

I am still trying to find the whole film on DVD.

I have always been a fan of the Stones, but I also liked Mick & Keith's solo stuff. People that knock Mick's solo stuff are just trying to be smart & exclusive for the sake of it.

what is really funny is that there are not 5 people in the whole world who can remember ANY of mick's single's or a drop of his "single work"! Now that is pretty hilarious!

@sherryk30 My goodness is one way of putting it. Her appearance on Roxy Music's Siren cover accounted for perhaps 50% of the reason for my buying the album. Talk about exotic!

That was made in Brazil. Brazil has all sorts of scenarios. Deserts,beaches,cities, or Amazon rain forest.

Always liked this video and the extended film that he made, but I'm a huge Mick fan and would probably like anything he did! Jerry was so beautiful back then. Still a pretty woman, but in her youth - my goodness!!

Very good. Mick is a pure artist, certainly a little bit prostitute in some aspects but he has kept a quality and authenticity in his music, in every period. His music gives so much energy, I can only thank him
