It's okay for a band to change their sound, but this drastic isn't a good look. I actually like when bands do something new like with BMTH. But this so far feels uninspired and bland.

Memphis May fire is my all time favorite band. I’ve been addicted to them since high school. When I was learning how to sing and scream, I stumbled upon this band in the past and mentally studied and tried to replicate the vocal style by matty. But after unconditional, I don’t feel the same energy and “pump” I use to get from their previous albums. I’m not saying this song is bad, nor am I saying the albums going to be horrible, I actually think it’s going to be great, and I always love hearing new things from Memphis. But their evolution isn’t really fitting for me. I guess it’s because I grew up in a generation where this genre of music stuck with me.

Now I'm debating if I should buy a ticket to Saturday's show. Haven't seen you or Atreyu yet and I'm sure you both kill it live but man, both albums are just so meh... But Ice Nine Kills could save me with their new stuff being played.

Based on the pics and videos INK puts on a hell of a show! I've only seen atreyu once back when lead sails paper anchors and they were good

Memphis will always be one of my favorite bands, I’m not sure if it is the mixing of these tracks but it does not feel impactful like their other albums. Probably because someone different mixed and mastered this album. The lyrics aren’t bad but this feels forced and uninspired compared to their other work.

At least the drums are a lot clearer than the last two albums - Unconditional was bad enough that they remastered for the deluxe, (even though it's still not a good mix) but on TLIH they went back to having the kick and snare clipping
