I really enjoyed this period of the Melvins music, the collaboration with. Big Business was really great, those dual drummer shows were a lot of fun.

Best closing to a song in a very very long time.

The Melvins and Big Business was the greatest marriage in rock history.

I love this era of the band. You can really hear the roots of their style as adults. It's unfortunate, but they really got too commercialized once they all hit puberty.

Can you believe I saw the Melvins open for Rush in 1994 on the Counterparts
tour?  They played at the Arco Arena in Sacramento to a mostly confused (or
not stoned enough) audience.  I wonder if Rush asked them to play as some
sort of joke on their fans, or maybe an attempt to expand their minds to the
stop-a-rhino-in-it's-tracks guitar sludge that the Melvins wield like a blunt instrument
to your skull.  I agree, these guys don't get nearly the credit they deserve.

Saw the Melvins open for nirvana in Park City Utah sometime after 93 but before 95. Opened with the breeders, love and rockets can't remember if there was another opening act. But I do remember revolve starting out like a drag racer freight train combo. Fucking LOUD and the best damn band of the night sorry nirvana. I wish they would have stopped in Vegas when there where touring with Babes in Toyland, and zombie. We got the flaming lips instead of the Melvins.
