Listen to her further, you will find much that will stun you with its radiance, her voice has wonderful timbres, great range, enormous subtleties, shocking power, lovely exuberance,  and there's lots of evidence of that from her, and more, here on YouTube. Just listen to more of what she's done.
Her greatest gift is her eyes----sounds exceptionally silly respecting a singer, but her eyes coupled with her voice are a unity---both very feeling and often mesmerizing, but outward looking.

My mistake on saying Katie is American;  I must have been thinking of Eva Cassidy
at the time.  I know she is from Georgia, SSR, and spent most of her formative years  in England.  This is one of my most favorite songs by her!
