i cheated on my husband ( back when we were dating ) i was three months in with him and i was confused about an old love and thought i still loved him but instead my ex just used me my husband found out and didnt believe it so i thought everything would be fine. Like, if you wanted him to lie if he ever cheats on you, tell him that. Or if you'd rather he breaks up with you before it comes to that, tell him that. @PPINO123 Yes, there are. The hard part is finding them and then having something in common with them. My advice, is get some real good friends to support you (just in case) and get the right facial expression to induce guilt: adoring, but not mindlessly so.

I have never been cheated on or cheated, heck I've never dated, but this is my favorite song and personally I get where she's coming from. She wish she didn't know because now that she knows she has to live with it and suffer the action her partner did. She knows so she has to leave him knowing he was not the person she thought he was. I think she would rather have known but at the same time it hurt her so she wishes she didn't at that point in time when she just found out.

I agree that it's better to know these things instead of being lied to, I've been cheated on though and there were a few moments where I thought, "Wow. I kind of wish I didn't know right now."
I think her whole point is she's glad she knows so she can walk away from it, but at the same time, you almost wish you didn't know, because then your relationship would still be in tact. *Shrug* That's what I get from it at least.

People should not lie about things like that. i would rather have my boyfriend tell me that he cheated on me that to have him lying to me and discover later that he's been playing on my back (if that sentence make sense in english... it does in french) And i've never experienced it but i know that being honest in those situation is everything but the easy way.

I love this song and I feel the hurt coming from her. I think people who cheat are horrible. However even though I've never been cheated on the only thing I don't agree with this song is I would rather know and risk the hurt than live a lie.
