I can relate so much to this song. I need god. I started to read this bible for kids and it's illustrated, which is cool. It's Sunday February 2, 2020. The last time I read the bible was January 30, 2020. I hope I will have time to continue reading it. The best part about the bible I have is that it gives me days and how many pages to read in that day. I'm falling behind. I try to remind myself to pray before I go to bed. I was able to pray the first and second night since I started reading the bible. I keep forgetting as the nights go on. At night I always wish on the first star I see and I say, 'I'll be fine'


I'm emotional, I've been emotional mostly for as long as I can remember. Now that I'm 13, I don't know what will happen to me. Right now, I'm hoping God sees me and knows what will happen to me. And know that I'll be fine and alright as I get older. Thank you for reading. And god bless you!

I have decided that it's not "teach my song to rise to you when temptation comes my way", but "teach my soul", if it is supposed to be "teach my song" can someone please clarify what that means? Otherwise until then we will be changing the words to "teach my soul" at our sunday worship now 😄😋

I think there might have been a typo, it doesnt make sense to me when it says "teach my song to rise to you", is it not "teach my soul to rise to you"? What does it even mean to ask God to teach your song to rise to Him?

My husband and I come from two different races, cultures, economic levels, and education levels. I Love him very much and we have two beautiful sons together. He was just a Filipino street boy trying to live the American dream. He had occasional outburst of angry, but was never physically violent with me or our sons. My mom was never happy with us being together. I Love my mom very much too, but every chance she got she would emphasize his anger issues. Out of the 10 years we were together there were only ten anger outbursts from my husband. I know now how frustrating it was for him that my mom constantly spoke less of him. We’ve been separated for 5 years, but I still love him very much. He has broken every promise he ever made to our sons and I, but I still love him and pray every day he will be reconciled to Jesus Christ and myself. He visited for the first time last summer and we’ve been talking on the phone. We both still love each other, but trust, pride, and fear as well as the Devil’s lies are keeping us apart. I feel the deep brokenness of my heart every day, only Jesus makes it bearable, and reminds me He will never leave me or forsake me. My sons and I also pray together for him every day to find Jesus and come home so we can be a whole family again. My husband is a lost soul and he is the “bone of my bone and the flesh of my flesh” as it says in Genesis. Please pray for the restoration of our family.
