So he partied with Uriah and got him drunk -then sent him to war, placed him at the front lines on the field, he then had the battalion pull back leaving Uriah to his death sentence. All in the meanwhile David did not go to war, he laid with Uriah's wife. ---Interesting thing about this was Uriah was not struck down immediately, he fought and actually made it all the way to the enemy gates alone, it was there that the archers got him. But back on the subject hence that lyric :David wants a flower so a flower he takes.

Matis' music has always inspired me, but he has opened a higher gate through the making of this album through his lyrics of deeper understanding, and I know that the chokhma was gained through rivers of tears from oceans of pain! Nahamu ammi!

I cry when Matis blesses his son Shalom at the end off this song everytime. I've shared this song with a few of my friends and they all have had the same response as I did...this for me sums up how I see my seven year old son, Seth. And now every time we hear this song we call it, "Seth's song."

Sigh. For a father to give his son permission to cry and to weep. Wow. Who says that?! Allowing myself to cry or weep is still something that I have to allow myself to do as an adult. These words are precious and life changing. Love this song.

It means no one is perfect. The first verse is all about influential people made so many mistakes and so many consequences came from it. It means people will judge and try to knock you off your feet. Theyre waiting you you to fall, like hungry lions they prey on you. It means that its okay to be scared but the moment you seem weak, theyve owned you. Dont show your fear. Dont let anyone shut the light off from your eyes. It means so keep going, dont give up no matter how manu times you want to scream, stand tall above all.

It is about his son named Shalom. Maybe you can see it a different way knowing this? He said this in his AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Reddit just an hour after you asked this. Actually, he says this is the one song that gets him the most emotional. Very touching if you ask me.
