This is my first song I've ever heard from them and decided to look at comments after about a minute and had to pause to make this comment...

This is the first time I've ever heard their name in my life, first time knowing them at all, and I made the connection with her voice before I looked below. The way she like cracks her voice and hits her highs is very much similar. Instrumentally, nah. Vocally, definitely, at least in the first minute of this song lol. There's nothing bad about that at all. Paramore is popular... for a reason. People like her music. Why can't other people also make good music lol

WhAt? Why do people keep comparing them to paramore? They are two different bands with two different sounds. Love them both but they’re not the same. The marmozets have harder guitar tracks, and is just not punk overall.

This band is something else, and i mean that in a good way. No expresses their feelings in the music like these guys do. I love all kinds of different rock music but the one thing is i have 2 favorite bands in the whole wide world. But if i had to pick between Disturbed and Marmozets, it would probably be Marmozets. These guys are top quality artist who deserve 10,000 awards in rock music.

Guys, quit freaking comparing this band to other female bands. Paramore is PARAMORE. Flyleaf is FLYLEAF. Marmosets is MARMOSETS. It's getting a bit annoying. We don't compare Bring Me the Horizon to A Day to Remember or Pierce the Veil to Sleeping with Sirens, or even Jimmy Eat World to Blink 182, so why automatically compare female bands as if they're all supposed to sound the same?

I hate when you discover a good band and you wonder what the hell you were doing with your life before that

This band sounds nothing like Paramore, so why make the comparison? Just because they've got a female singer??? With red hair?????????

It's impossible to reasonably claim otherwise.

Doesn't mean it's bad. It's just a similar sounding voice.

She has a much wider range vocally than Paramore. You can hear that in other songs pretty much (captivate you, good days, cry, ...).

I personally don't hear it. First time I heard Marmozets, I wasn't even sure it was a female vocalist (Captivate You). Hayley Williams' voice is much higher pitched, and she has no accent. I would never confuse a Marmozet's song with a Paramore song. By contrast however, I do have a hard time telling most post hardcore bands apart.. *shrugs*

+MrMatticusFynchCH2 Her voice sounds very similar at times, and that is not an insult. The singer in this band definitely has more of an edge in her style, and the bands music is light years more interesting then Paramore.

+Pan Ghan Vocals are obviously similar. I've listened to a shitload of bands with female singers, and this is the only one that has automatically reminded me of Paramore

+Curtis Russo In paramores case i'd argue that they've used "pop" to add and improve their sound-and it sounds great ( "aint it fun" is amazing") and some of their songs on their album retain their old punk rock elements-just as their old songs had pop elements. However, I will add that these guys sound great and remind me greatly of the old paramores "riot" and "brand new eyes."

So love'd ton this one and this is second song that i am hearing right now! I have always liked strong female voice. And this on of the nicest i have ever heard! So keep it fresh and strong, and don't allow the hype get you. Because we need band with talent and stable future.

I'm sick of people saying this band is like Paramore! Not hating on Paramore, love them, however, Marmozets are a completely different genre, Becca has a different vocal style (which is SICK btw), and just because there is a female singer, does not mean they're like Paramore.. This band has more complicated instrumentation and the main melodies are not Paramore-like at all. This band is alternative math energy people!! #school
