You won't find much reversing it. You will hear layers of songs off the Anti-Christ album. No lyrics are clearly audible. Mister Superstar is the first song I heard when I reversed it years ago. I believe the message is what it says forward. Manson did the work for you. Of course like many things its up to interpretation. I could be wrong.

I wonder, does anyone put hidden tracks on thier albums anymore? doubt it, cuz no one buys cds these days. so sad. Nothibg better than listening to an entire new album on CD, and reading the lyrics and enjoying the creativity in the booklet. people are missing out.

Michael Goodyear yeah, most stuff is easier to download/buy digitally so there'd be no surprise or secret in a hidden track. Which is lame because hidden tracks are usually really cool

Fun observation, this is actually the very first song of the album. The end of track 99 is literally the beginning of track 1 "Irresponsible Hate Anthem" Try it, it works. This is one of the best produced albums in rock history, hands down

Adrian Dominic it’s the last track because it tells the end of Antichrist superstar and what happened after the worm took over control and mass killed all humans. The last line matches up with irresponsible hate album so it becomes a whole circle. The entire album is a loop.

True. But SFW? It wastes 7 min & 82 trx (!) to get to some backwards masking that's been done (& done better) for decades by everyone and their stepdad. then, it's more of the pseudo-Biblical/apocalyptic psychobabble he's done 200x before (with mandatory cheesy vocal FX). I'll pass.

I really just think that the haunting, soul-crushing closing minutes of "The Man That You Fear" (maybe the finest song on the album) would've been a much more powerful feeling to end on. The "When all of your wishes are granted..." line after it, to me, is a WAY more terrifying (& appropriate) finale than #99.

+Eddie G. for Goodnight exaggerating much? How can he have done this 200 times if this is their third album? Sure it's done in the opening of tourniquet too but I really like the symbolic meaning.
I can only imagine listening to the cd and then this starts playing long after I would have thought it finished. I would probably think it's a bit creepy but also so awesome and a good way to make a perfect loop.

You can probably tell that I'm not much of a Manson fan outside of Antichrist Superstar. I do think it's an amazing album, though. It'd crack my top 100 of all time, I imagine. However, I do get bored with his exploitation routine. He's too talented to keep doing the same shit forever, just because his scenesters always eat it up...

A message that sounds like it's actually coming from the real Antichrist. Extreme and convincingly sound with a sudden hint of terror one might find the last verse of the record is how it begins which is the double negative aspect in which most of us aught to all agree is our least favorite most detestable parts of the record, we all hear a diss coming from the worst version of Antichrist that we can fathom another phantom menace to be had through truly hellish from Satan's mouth. All in between are songs that are not necessarily to be taken with the same attitude because they can be what you make them and so you'll see they have a positive light aswell however the music artist does well to bring an attitude performance as seen in Dead To The World Tour on video the whole idea is to maintain and Antichrist like mentality because the artist chooses to be a leader that survived martyrdom all to one, one to all, don't fool yourself into believing that my name may be cursed either as above and so will below I too deserve the right to overcome a pyramid scheme that we see has taking shape has become cultivated from European empires through unto the West. The story of the Antichrist Superstar captures the image of St. Michael the Arch Angel aswell however a confirmation name of mine who is really the one to decide what do it is in this life. My dad has the CD and the blank tracks last something like 4 or 5 seconds.

The cool thing about this song is that if you are listening to the Antichrist Superstar CD, and you left it on for around 7 minutes after "Man That You Fear", this starts playing. That's why it's called Track 99, because there are literally 83 tracks between this one and Man That You Fear, each being silence for around 5 seconds.

My dad had the CD and said each track after "Man fear whatever" was like 4 or 5 seconds long and totaled up to 4 minutes or something.

Manson and his fellow musical crew clearly know about sound and how to use it for a horrifying effect.  Rob Zombie is similar in some ways as that he knew how to create some horrific sounds...  Now Zombie does horror movies, no surprise, since he has always been a fan of horror movies, especially all of the classics.

pisses me off.  this track he is obviously wanting you to play backwards and it's like the only manson song i can't find reversed on youtube.  about to just record it into my program and reverse it myself. 

In the background its repeating "When you are suffering, know that I have betrayed you," backwards. Otherwise, its normal. On a side note: speeding it up 300% reveals the outro of Mister Superstar, and slowing the outro of Mister Superstar down 300% reveals Track 99.
