I've seen this tour six times in concert-the other night in Asbury Park, NJ...they NEVER disappoint live! There have been few bands in my 66 years that can actually produce their music live in concert just like listening to the album...I dare say Marianas Trench is even BETTER live if that is possible...I will miss the Phantom tour...the music has captured my soul...
You should hear this live...absolutely flawless...
Who is Eleonora?
She was Edgar Allen Poe's wife. They lived isolated from a lot of the world but they were happy. They valley they lived in flourished with strange, brilliant flowers, star shaped flowers grew where they had never been. The grass grew greener and daises were replaced by shockingly red lilies.
Elenora was sick and dying, she was scared that when she was gone, he would leave the valley and love someone else. Edgar(The Narrator) made a promise to her that he would never love again, and never marry "another daughter of the earth".
However when Elenora died, the valley began to lose its luster and warmth. The Narrator eventually leaves the valley he shared with Elenora and moves to a strange city.
There he meets a new love and marries her without guilt.
Soon after, Elenora visits the couple/The Narrator to give her blessings to them.
"Thou art absolved. For reasons which shall be made known to thee in Heaven."
