Damien, she is a Texan living in Nashville and did recordings in Los Angeles with a brilliant producer named Busbee (RIP) I have seen her a few times and she is great live as well as her awesome band. Have a listen to her other songs, she is a very good writer...artist. So sorry to see whats happening in Australia..we've have had our share of fires too in California but not like you guys :(

Although Morris claims this song isn't intended to bash church attendance or religion, I do want to say that no true Christian who actually loves the Lord would neglect the fellowship of the church. Church is all about worshiping God, seeking His will, encouraging and strengthening other believers, and promoting eternal values. So many people today wrongly "think" that they can define God, religion or church on the their own terms, which is quite arrogant and illogical. Nope, it is the Creator who sets the rules and the creature who is to submit and yield.
