I never knew the Manics back in the day (I was only a child back in the 90s after all) but when I got into them a few years ago, I became completely intrigued by Richey's story. I actually dreamt a while ago that I was walking down the street in New York or London (can't remember for sure) and while I was waiting for the bus, Richey walked up to me but didn't say anything until we were on the bus, then we talked until he got off at his stop (and that's when I woke up 😂 ). That dream was so vivid that it convinced me that Richey is still alive and living somewhere. But I could be wrong too. I'd give anything to know if he's still alive where he his is so for sure.

to be honest you can not compare those bands, nirvarna are grunge so you cant compare them with big metal bands, same goes for smashing pumpkings and soundgarden.Manics are a weird breed of intelect-punk-rock and transvivion vamp, they are all on there own in a little sub-genre.
