joke sport about vanity
Reminds me of R.P McMurphy
This is making me mildly hysterical XD Reminds me of Spinal Tap's 'Flower People' phase. Getting vague echoes of 'So Dead' there toward the end maybe?
thanks for upload.i haven't heard this song.
is it an early PCP ?
No ? ....right , i'll fuck off then...can I still have the 10 quid.?
I think it's an early Motorcycle Emptiness. Listen to the end of the song
They look so fantastic in these early pics, getting older sux. Still a great band. Stay Beautiful...............
This is on a few Manics 'rarity' bootleg CDs - which basically consist of early demos and live recordings from 90s festivals/gigs
It's James. 100%.
this is amazing. like they invented indiepop.
@SuperMegabar At some points, I thought it sounded like Nicky too, but I can't be sure. It could just be a young James, haha.
Always said you can't go wrong with some ba ba ba's in a song.
Double it up with a bit of clap-clap clap and youve got a winner, (especially if they sound even mightier than the one's in Space Oddity)
Where did you find this? You're a star for putting it up.
I'm off to watch them in Tokyo next week maybe they'll play it if i ask nicely.
There's a bit of Sorrow 16 in this too. The jangly guitar at the end of this sounds similar to the small bit that begins at 0:12 of the studio version of that song.
It's no surprise that Generation Terrorists is such a polished and perfect album. Although it's their debut, the amount of demos they'd recorded shows they were pretty much established musicians by that point.
what album is this off, i'd so love to get it!
xx
Great trumpet Sean!
They seriously should release this stuff some day, I like it lol
haha awesome i can imagine nicky wire cringing at this
oh no. funny wish this was live vid.. all i want from you.. papaaapaapapaaaa! great post
whoa....this is wild. thanx for digging this one up!!!!
1:17 - 1:41 = Motorcycle Emptiness (the bridge). I hereby claim said pretend internets tenner.
Yes, I thought that too.
Do you mean the very end of the song or the Motorcycle Emptiness bit?
The very ending sort of sounds like Sorrow 16.
Close but no banana! (May i recommend revision of G.T? - Not that anyone minds doing that!) :D
Thanks a lot for posting!!
yeah! It's old! but great :D I love it, thanks for upload it ^^
It's cool to see some parts of now classic songs in these old demos :)
This song sounds very 50's influenced.
Only when you've given me the name of the song it later became :P
Then, and only then have you earned those ten imaginary squids. :D
Wooow !!! Where did you find it ???
I guess that song doesn't even belong to any b-sides...
