Manhattan Transfer, The - A Kiss To Build A Dream On Lyrics

Give me a kiss to build a dream on
(And) my imagination will thrive upon that kiss
Sweetheart, I ask no more than this
A kiss to build a dream on

Oh, give me a kiss before you leave me
And my imagination will feed my hungry heart
Oh, leave me one thing before we part
A kiss to build a dream on

When I'm alone with my fancies I'll be with you
Weaving romances making believe they're true

Just give me your lips for just a moment
And my imagination will make that moment live
Oh, give me what you alone can give
A kiss to build a dream on

When I'm alone with my fancies I'll be with you
Weaving romances making believe they're true

Oh, give me your lips for just a moment
(And) my imagination will make that moment live
Darling, give me what you alone can give
A kiss to build a dream on

Janis Siegal is as lovely as ever. I have alwavs thought she has an inner beauty that shows in her face and in her wonderful voice.
"A Kiss to Build A Dream On" is a nice song.
    Thanks for reccomending this.

Janis Siegal is one very sexy middle aged woman. Not conventionally pretty, but passionate and "at ease in her skin" as the French say.

    Phil Turner

Janis had a special chemistry with Tim which shows on stage and it is clear that she respected and deferred to him as the originator TMT. Sadly, the same cannot be said for her relationship with Cheryl where the tension between them on stage really showed ( really unprofessional). It's a shame, because each is such a thousand miles beyond talented and together their singing is sublime.
