I hate when people sing about scar's. To many scar's in the world. Some can be shown and Some are hiding scar's. Feeling alone when no one will help you when you fall that is a scar. Taking a hell of a beating that will show scar's. So I have my plenty of fair share of scar's. But You don't see me singing about it. Then again I would make a fuckin movie out of it. To show people CPS and DCF is not good for children. And for the person who cried over reading my profile. I can say sorry for that making you cry but fuck it make a movie out of it and see how many people won't cry over it be a game of a movie. To see who will cry and who won't cry over it.

Pray for me plz. Been thinking about the same girl since 10. She became a obsession, a beautiful one. A love so innocent and true. By high school she was back in my life, but I was shy. I pursued her and it freaked her out. Then I spent 3 years in a cart pushing job grieving😭 I found God in that parking lot. I fixed myself up, lost that job, went back to college and got into fitness. Not for just her, for God, for me. And now I met her on social media, wanted her to trust me again, but I pushed too hard. She knows my heart though, knows the grace I feel for her and believe. But have to move on and I don’t know how. How can she even live with this😞? Plz God, tell me all those days of “love” and tears weren’t for nothing. I will always love Lisa🌸, even after I find another. So sad.

Mandisa’s songs are so powerful and I relate to many of them. Growing up in the difficult conditions I did it was not easy. Everyone sees my scars from when I was a cutter, my life got to me so much I wanted to give up. He really did bring me through and now I work with the young children of my church and teach others from my experiences. His faithfulness and love are great you just don’t always think they are there but they are. My scars are gone and in their place are the stories, the stories of my troubles and how god has healed me.

I listened to this song in my recovery class and I looked at the scars on my heart and mind that my mental health issues left and the scars my addictions with my health left on my baby boy and I prayed and prayed and promised God that I would stay clean this time and vowed to make amends with my son for the rest of his life

I was once caught up in sexual sin. I was homosexual, demon possessed, and I watched pornography. When I was at the darkest point in my life, I cried out to God. He reached down His loving hands and pulled me out of the abyss of sin. He removed the demons from me and set me free.

"Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I." Isaiah 58:9

I no longer am homosexual, and I no longer watch pornography. I occasionally have lustful thoughts, which is temptation from the devil, but I can overcome them with the help of God. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13

Today I have been feeling shameful for my past, but then God reminded me of 1 Corinthians 6:9 - 6:1;

"9 Don't you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people--none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. 11 Some of you were once like that. *But you were CLEANSED; you were MADE HOLY; you were made RIGHT with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.*"

God showed me through my scars that though, yes, I was once homosexual and lustful, and though I did watch pornography in the past, that I am no longer like that. That is no longer me.

And God reminded me that He is using me to minister to those struggling with sexual sin!

My scars aren't pretty, but they tell a story of me down in the valley, and how God reached down with His Grace and healed me. They remind me of His Faithfulness and all He brought me through! They teach me that my brokenness is something He can use! They show me where I've been, and that I'm NOT there anymore! That's what scars, God shows me that THAT'S WHAT SCARS ARE FOR!

I have so many scars that I use to ashamed of them and now I'm proud of them because they show how strong I am. I have scars on my head from six brain surgeries. I have scar on my back from heart surgery, I have scars on my stomach from brain surgery and I have scars on my legs from cerebral palsy surgery. Im proud of them. They are badge of honor!

I was a Self Mutilator, My Physical Scars were made by me, I would slice my skin trying to escape my Inner Turmoil , I hate to say this now but I Would sit and watch myself Bleed and loved it, I would do it most when I would get flashbacks of my abusers sexually abusing me when I was a Child
BUT JESUS SAVED ME. I am not dead, and I do not hurt from the abuses, HE has bigger plans for me.

i lived in a world at one time that i thought that death was the only way, that i hated my life more than anything, i envied my friends that died, and was angry at some of my friends because their lives looked so perfect,

i used to believe that i was such a burden on my family, so i thought the best thing i can do is leave them, i was unsuccessful 3 times, after being fired for what they said that i was too stupid to work there, i sat on the train tracks for 3 hours waiting to be run over. when i got up and walked to Tim Hortons; defeated i sat in there and had an iced capp, just as i begin to sip it the train went by.

The LORD Saved me, I could of died that day,
but HE had plans for me.

I have Over Dosed on Drugs and still the LORD saved me! I could of died from the PCP, but HE Saved me!

I was born with a hole in my heart, and the doctors performed surgery on me and by them in God's hands. I survived. The doctors said I had 5% chance of living and God saved me. But by having surgery, I have a scar going from the end of neck down the middle of my chest to the start of my stomach. Through my younger years such as early teenage years. I was so ashamed of my scar, I hating God for letting it be so noticeable, and I would changed conversation when people would try to talk about it. It got to the point that it was a part of my depressing thoughts and led me to wanting to commit suicide. On the 10th of April 2014, God led me to Him. he took every suicide thought away and brought me comfort. I now embrace my scar and tell people about it. This song says all that I am feeling about God and what He has done for me.

Also I love looking through the comments to see people of all ages, who know Christ and love their scars. Keep it up, beauties. Scars are beautiful, and they show everyone your strength not your weakness. 💜💞
