Mandisa - I Hope You Dance Lyrics
I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Livin' might mean takin' chances but they're worth takin'
Lovin' might be a mistake but it's worth makin'
When you come close to sellin' out reconsider
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone)
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
Dance, dance, dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone)

I love mandisas version of I hope you dance
I had bance and this was my song for it
I love this song my little brother does to God I s important in my life
I didn't know this existed and I'm mad about it
worst rendition to any song and the music sucked more than her voice but if both had the chance to be together it made this version of a GREAT SONG less to heard by her voice - regards just take it off of you tube and ignore the 400+ likes cause that was her friends probably? lol

I like this version better
I have her Overcomer Album and I don’t see it on it
Song by oleta Adams but it's still good to listen to
i like it belie it guys
Best cover ever.
love this song we do it in zumba class
I believe that both of them did a great job on this song and if you don't have something nice to say don't say nothing at all 😎 I love Christian music 🙌🙌
What is this!? I first heard it during the upbeat party hour on our local country station, then on our Christian station... Just like the other songs she covers... She should stick to her own songs. She does a good job, but covers are not her strong suit.
I really like that version.
WOW..beautiful voice! Best of everything in your career.
Every time I hear Mandisa, I think, what a shallow idiot Simon Cowell was.
I remember watching her and thinking, wow! Then listening to him insult her and her coming back to shame him in such a Christ like manner. It brought tears to my eyes. God yet blessed her!
He is the reason I didn't care for American Idol.
i love this so very much. the voices.... well coordinated! the lyrics.... powerful! the tune,,, danceable! i dance!!!
I love this song!!
The song is beautiful. Both Mandisa and Leanne Womack do a wonderful job as they both have a powerful voice and can portray the wonderful message within the lyrics!
I agree Mandisa did a wonderful job replicating this song
Yes! Finally a version of this song which isn't all too "mushy". I was looking for something like this for the baptism of my daughter.
This is not a ally her song. It is a cover of Lee Ann Womack's "I hope you dance"
Indeed, she does an amazing Job :) Just could't ever find her version on here, so I decided to make one :D
Thank you for uploading!I really powerful words!
