This morning, 6:30 and the sun isn’t even reflecting off the clouds, I finally heard this song. I’ve been depressed and listening to this album all the time to try to go back to 2013 because I was happy then. But at the end he says “the moment is now, can’t get it back(from the grave)”. When he said that, I felt the last grip on 2013 die for me. I felt it in my chest and behind my eyes. The moment is now, and I can’t get that time in my life back. Not sure how this will affect me later but we’ll see

As of April 25th, 2015 I'm debt free.  After 5 years of living in cheap studio apartments looking up at the ceiling saying to myself I will not die here. I missed a few weddings, graduations, weekend get aways, concerts nothing back breaking but fun things. Didn't get to many calls back from the ladies after they knew I was in a studio and rocked a bus pass. (I don't blame them one bit.) That one hurt the most, 30 plus years old, single, no degree, working my ass off.  I had a goal but I swear in the thick of it, it's not pretty at times all I saw was failure. I wish I could say ... man this song got me through it but I didn't find it until I was "So damn close I could taste it" while fighting to be debt free doesn't quite equate to becoming a rapper. Drive is drive... "This is my life...my arena." It helped me shake the shame off the other disappointing areas in life. 

I rock this in the gym. I rock this walking home from the bus stop, I rock this with bags of groceries in my hands. One day I will rock this in my truck, I will rock this in my Condo, I'll be thinking of this when get my bachelors. "A life lived for art is never wasted" Art can be anything & anything can be beautiful... this is the most inspiring song I've ever heard. This song so underrated.

@Emmanuel Dela Cruz I saw a quote the other day. You only live once. That's not true, you only die once but you have a chance to live every day! When I think back to 2011 I knew I had to take every opportunity I could to evaluate and learn from my life. I hired a financial advisor and took some courses on how to become debt-free because I was swimming in debt, which took 4 years to complete. Then I started to learn about my nutrition and talked with a gym trainer to learn how to care for my body. I saw a therapist for about 4 of those years, I learned a lot in those sessions. I didn't see it then but all of those little lessons prepared for where I am now, they were steps you know. I'm saying because I'd love to have a coffee or a beer with ya. If that never happens the template is right here.


The hardest part was looking at my life the ugly shit, accepting that I got myself there, then doing everything I could to dig out. From that perspective, I am able to function here. By here I mean on the precipice of my dream, and it hasn't been easy. My truck cost me 4 grand in April, then another almost 6 in October. So I had to donate it and if they auction it off I get to write that amount off on my taxes. It's tough not being mobile, but I've been through so much I trust that I will find a way. That's the template, once you understand your goals no matter how small, be relentless in finding a way. Let's go be great today!
