Luscious Jackson - Keep On Rockin' It Lyrics

Till its all over
Original bone lovers straight from manhattan
Keep your butt movin'
Keep your hands clappin'
Original one droppin'
We never stoppin'
Always got bootee
Always keep rockin'
Two ladies who don't care for diamonds and gold
Who love the boys when they young or they old
Who always got something to say for themselves
Who put the high heels back on the shelf
Keep on rockin it
Keep on shockin it
Till it's all over
Keep on rockin it
Keep on shockin it
Till it's all over
Till it's all over
No family jewels between my legs
My wealth is my brain
My jewels my eggs
My underarm hair is a nice little length
My earwax is few, but this is my strength
Little boy blue he got plenty of skin
He pull off the callous and put the skin in
He always got something to say for himself
He put the high heels up on the shelf
Be my follower
I won't stay long
I'm just lookin' for your mother's son
My reality is in your face
But every man must know his place
Keep on rockin' it
Keep on shockin it
Till it's all over
Keep on rockin it
Keep on shockin it
Till it's all over
Fill it's all over
Feel me falling to my knees
Sound of children in the breeze
Keeps me down and pulls me out
My evolution is all around
Be my follower (original bone lovers straight from manhattan)
I won't stay long (keep your butt movin' keep your hands clappin')
Be my follower (original one droppin' we never stoppin')
I won't stay long (always got bootee always keep rockin')
Be my follower (two ladies who don't care for diamonds and gold)
I won't stay long (who love the boys when they young or they old)
Keep on rockin' it
Keep on shockin' it
Till its all over
Keep on rockin it
Keep on shockin it
Till its all over
Till its all over
Keep on rockin it
Keep on shockin it
Keep on rockin it
Keep on shockin it
Keep on rockin it
Keep on shockin it

There is nothing before or since that sounds like this EP. Later Beastie Boys (check your head, ill communication) is the only thing that comes close(big surprise). Their next 3 albums are great, but this is their crowning jewel. A stand-alone in music history. Get a copy if you dont have one. Enjoy Babylon, kaos K.O.

Rites of passage - Spring of 1987: nearing the end of 9th grade; The Beastie's "License to Ill" was one of the first cassettes I bought for myself with my "allowance". Spring of 1994: wrapping up my Sophomore year in Uni; LJ's "In Search of Manny" was one of the first CDs I purchased at the (sorely missed) Cellophane Square in my college town of Bellingham, WA when I finally had a Sony Discman of my own, and to replace an earlier cassette. I've been a huge fan of both during all the years that have followed; it's hard to believe it's now so long ago.

I was lucky enough to have a cool college radio station to listen to when I lived in Seattle and they played songs from this EP when it was released. The first one I heard that totally got me hooked was 'Life Of Leisure'. I picked up the CD the next day - still have it. (y) What movie is featured in this video? It's a great fit for the music.

I'm from New York and Luscious Jackson is the epitome of everything cool, funky, fresh and badass in New York. This is my favorite song and I love the video! Keep on rock in' it!

And we were into it in Venice, CA. My girlfriend worked at a record store and we wore this shit out.

I could not agree with you more - I bought In Search of Manny at a street vendor in South Africa over 10 years ago. Stonkin'! They thank the Beastie Boys on all their albums. Now I know why. Thanks.
