I wouldn’t classify this as “country,” pop or otherwise. Just bc his last name is Nelson doesn’t mean he has to sing country music. Neither this song, nor Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real, have ever been “country.” They’ve always been more of a rock band-they backed Neil Young for awhile for crying out loud. You should stop putting labels on music and just enjoy what you enjoy. Have a great day!
