I believe it's "when you cut that dude with that stiletto. Man ya did it so uh chh." Not "with a little mania." For some reason Google gets a lot of Lou's lyrics wrong. I pasted the lyrics for a few tracks from Berlin and had to fix a bunch of them that were wrong. Not see why because they're not hard to understand but I guess Lou's entire career was based on people misunderstanding him so why should now be any different? Lol

It contains one of Lou Reed’s most passionate verbal deliveries, machine gunning (“I n-n-n-n-need now, now some kicks”) his way through lines as the song gets faster (or at least seems to).

( and you gotta love that bass line running through it just like a beating heart ..... ) that song at when was about 15 helped me convince myself drugs were kool ... plus rock n roll animal ..... station to station ... wagging school , a 6pack and a budda stick or blob hash or a double o cap best smack .... all while still at college ......... clearlights barrells or hoffmans ..... and always the latest greatest album to put on to listen to .... long plays .... lps ... most were masterpieces .... we would listen to what and who ever back then ,,,,.?. No musiic stereo typing , no my friends wont like it so i cant(like the silly young trendys do now) .... we used listen to lou reed coney island baby to rorys irish tour 74 to cat stevens tea for the tilllerman .... deep purple to t rex to led zeperlin to the moody blues .... tim buckley live in LA 74...... what happened .... now its from a one hit wonder to the next ... none are truely capable of a stunning lp ..... llet alone 3or 4 lps in 2to 3 yrs .... probably why my album collection is huge but old ... and yes it gets added to .... but to have the true top 100 lps in there .... only a small % would be after 2000 ....
