This is one of his favourite songs that he wrote. It's about him betraying someone he actually really loved romantically or friendship wise, through cheating or just gross unreliability. It's about just wanting to hear from someone you loved saying 'something' to help them cope after believing you hurt them so much.

I havent seen a silver Lining. This girl is amazing. Not just in looks. I love her laugh. I love her smile. I remember, everytime she saw me, she use to run up to me and yell "Cody" in a high pitched voice and then hug me....Me and her use to say "I love you best friend" to each other and we knew we both meant more. Now its gone....I miss her so much :(
