Living Colour - Tomorrow Never Knows Lyrics

Turn off your mind, relax
and float down stream
It is not dying
It is not dying

Lay down all thought
Surrender to the void
It is shining
It is shining

That you may see
The meaning of within
It is being
It is being

That love is all
And love is everyone
It is knowing
It is knowing

That ignorance and hate
May mourn the dead
It is believing
It is believing

But listen to the
color of your dreams
It is not living
It is not living

Or play the game
existence to the end
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
Of the beginning

  6. S.... S....

I like all the versions, especially the original. In 1966? That sh*t was the most psychedelic music on earth!

  7. F.... ....

Synthesizer??  The Beatles with a synthesizer in 1966?  Those noises were all tape loops made by Paul McCartney.

    F.... ....

all taping, mixing, looping was by GEORGE MARTIN... he and George Harrison remade over 25 Beatles' songs the same way into a 2-hr show for Cirque du Soleil that is the best of all that put together in Abbey Road 'suite' style.. called LOVE, get that for sure..

    F.... ....

Lawrence Jose Sinclair The Beatles songs used in the Cirque du Soleil show, "Love", were remixed by George Martin and his son Giles Martin. George Harrison was in on the original idea but unfortunately he passed away a year or so later. When Paul McCartney first heard those mashups he said something like, "I wish they had taken even more liberty with the songs." I'm paraphrasing of course, but I agree with him. That cd is very cool. It helps to read the liner notes to get the explanation of certain songs, otherwise you may not be able to tell the difference in the remix and the original. "Strawberry Fields Forever" is a good example of that.

  8. J.... P....

IIRC, a band called "Dolores" did a phenomenal version of this song. Hearing this version (which is cool) brought back a lot of memories! I don't think I ever knew it was a Beatles song until now LOL.

  9. U.... P....

I like the Sucker Punch cover the most actually.

Nice upload, this is a great cover IMO. I actually enjoy this version more, more tones are defined and reflected as opposed to just twiddling the knobs of a synthesizer constantly. Mad props to Lennon for the lyrics though.

I like the Beatles version better.

    You probably do...
