c'est par Little Richard que tout à commencer contrairement à ce que l'ont pensent ce n'est pas Elvis qui à mis le feu à toute la planète même si il a contribuer à cette folie des années 60 c'est bien Little Richard qui à lancer le Rock' n 'Roll à la fin des années 50 il y était déjà avec d'autres noms de légende comme Chuck Berry Fats Domino & Bo Didley à eux 4 ils ont construits cette musique de légende c'est en 1951 que Little Richard à tout démarrer avec les titres Get Rich Quick puis Every Hour à partir de cette instant il va ce faire connaitre de la population des blancs une musique est née par lui ensuite suivent les 3 autres Chuck Berry Fats Domino & Bo Didley ensuite viendront Elvis Presley en 1954 mais il a commencer à jouer sa musique qui à l'époque était un mélange Country & de Rhythm and Blues c'est seulement 1956 avec le titre de Heartbreak Hotel que le Rockabilly est née mais reconnaissons que le Rock'n'Roll c'est bien Little Richard qui à fait de cette musique de légende tout les autres après sont venus s'e engouffrer dessus Elvis Presley , The Beatles Johnny Hallyday & tout les autres rendons à qui de droit viens cette musique de légende mais n'oublions que cette musique de légende vient aussi d'une autre légende de la musique le Blues

Ce n'est pas exact, le rockabilly est né en juillet 54 avec le premier single d'Elvis, les 4 autres singles sur Sun de 54 et 55 sont également du rockabilly, bien avant Heartbreak hotel ( qui d'ailleurs n'est pas du rockabilly), d'autre part Fats Domino avait enregistré The Fat Man avant les premiers enregistrements de Little Richard, qui a vraiment fait du rock'n'roll à partir de 55 avec Tutti Frutti ( ses premiers disques n'avaient pas eu de succès et étaient dans la moyenne de ce qui se faisait en terme de rhythm'n'blues à l'époque), Bill Haley, Charlie Gracie et d'autres sortaient des disques de rock'n'roll avant Little Richard, ce qui n'enlève rien à l'immense talent et influence de ce dernier.

@bluebearcat65 je ne veux pas polémiqué avec toi mais je ne sais pas quel âge tu as mais j'ai 71 ans & à l'époque personne ne parler de mon temps de Rockabilly mais on parlais de Rock n roll le terme Rockabilly est née dans les années 1950 la musique Rockabilly ,le sale gosse de la Country musique venant du mélange de deux d'inspiration du Rhythm n blues & de la country d'autre part si je me souviens bien il y avait toujours une contrebasse dans le terme Rockabilly & c'est Bill Haley avec son Hits Comets qui est à l'origine de la contrebasse mais avant de créer son groupe il a commencer avec des groupes Hillbilly c'est de la que viens le nom Rockabilly

@Daniel Poursac "Personne ne parlait de rockabilly..." oui, en France mais pas aux USA. Bill Haley jouait du rock'n'roll, pas du rockabilly malgré la présence de la contrebasse, il était du nord et n'avait donc pas exactement les mêmes influences qu'Elvis et les autres artistes Sun, tous sudistes; Mon poste ne remettait pas en cause le talent et l'influence de Little Richard mais il est abusif de dire qu'il était le premier, à ce sujet le livre de Nick Tosches "Unsung heroes of rock'n'roll" est très instructif sur les débuts du rock'n'roll.

It took a lot of gumption for Little Richard to claim to be the "Architect of Rock and Roll." Think about it. That's pretty ballsy. To his credit, his music still endures and the claim is not that outrageous here in 2019.
