Lovely expressive harmonies throughout. Mister Penniman created so much for us to groove on and learn from. Two years later Jimi was in London tearing everyone apart with the Experience. Beautiful beautiful beautiful sincere vocal from Richard. Damn it's good! Thanks for posting! I got to meet Richard and his brother in the summer of 2007 and got to hear Richards show from a seat right on stage. I was overwhelmed by his talent and commitment. Richard CREATED rock and roll, along with Chuck Berry ,Richard is a .joyful man who shares his joy with the world. That's his genius.

I first heard this as a cover song by an all white girl band in my home town. It was one of the best concerts I've ever seen by a local group of musicians. I Can't remember their name but I was standing beside one of the bands members husband. And he was a cool guy.

I have a different recording of Little Richard singing this song that is slightly more passionate, but I can't find out where it came from. Does anyone know what it could be from? I can only find this version on YouTube, but not the version I have.

This is probably the ultimate in Soul . Richard could do this stuff and he was the king of rock in the early 50's but you can't call him sugar -- Sugar never was that sweet !

Your rudeness means you lose your credibility straight away. This would be a great record with out the guitar- the vocal performance alone is enough to make it what it is. The guitar is just part of whats going on in general - which is awesome. It's a shame but it seems some people can't hear beyond guitars.
