Yesterdy night in the tv, was a report about stars who was gone. And when it was talked about Chester, was it tough for me.

This was and still is the best cover ever! I have it on an LPU CD I got back in 2004.

I can't quite describe the special nostalgic imprint that Chester and Linkin Park left in my life.. when I was 5 or 6 years old I remember hearing the icy melodic intro to Crawling. This video just incapsulates such a time. This cover is beautiful. Really fits in with their sound, but most of all it highlights Chester's voice. Chester had the rare ability to really put forth his emotions so clearly with everything he was singing. You can seriously tell by the way he sings some lines of this song, that he went through a vast amount of hurt. I had a really bad day today, but listening to this cover, and how Chester wears his heart perfectly on his sleeve, with no fear of how it's taken, just honesty... it's refreshing. It's so human. A heavy heart of his took him away. I love him for feeling things deeply, but will always miss him.

Shame Linkin Park never sounded half as good as Nine Inch Nails live though, not that there is any artist or band in the world that does unless they do 100% playback, and yes, that includes the entire history of music, go back as far as you want.
