I have this album, and I've listened to it so many times that it is worn now. A real jewel of an album. Every time I listen to it, those old Rita Hayworth movies come to my mind. Linda Ronstadt does have a Spanish soul. Not only does she sing in Spanish without any accent, but she sings with feeling as well. One million thumbs up!

Yomo had lost weight and ten years before my dad passed away Yomo gave my dad the jacket cause he said  it was for fat guys hehehe. those two were clowns.  May they rest in peace.

i remember an interview she did several years ago,where she talked about her family. basically, her father's family got together and sang all the mexican songs they grew up with. she said when she was a child, she thought english was the language you spoke in andspanish was the language you sang.
