It's kinda sad because the "wait for it" in the background sounds like burr telling him not to "write his way out" but to wait for it to end on it's own.
Because In the end Alexander threw away his shot, and burr didn't wait for it.

god i love the "wait for it" and "history has its eyes on you..." in the background toward the end. they sound so frantic, like they know how hamilton is about to mess everything up and are begging him to stop writing and just "wait for it" and keep his mouth shut but thats just not how alex works

dude, this song actually terrifies me. not trying to block you from all the funny comments, but seriously, this song makes me scared. as an author, it scares me because you honestly never know what will happen to you. maybe you'll be a best seller, maybe you won't. you just have to *wait for it.* and if you mess up, such as alexander did, history really will have it's eyes on you. it's scary to think about, how you won't know what kind of mark you'll leave behind.

"Passage on a ship that was New York bound" was stuck in my head, only that line, you all know how it is when you get an earworm. Anyway, I could not for the life of me figure out what it was from. I even considered Hamilton and was like nah, you'd know the rest if it was Hamilton. And what do you know, here I am....... finally following a gut instinct...... and it's from Hamilton. A little disappointed in myself, not gonna lie.
