I remember when I was 7 years old (I'm 54 now), my mom and some women from our church sang this to the tune of "What a Friend we Have in Jesus".

A fantastic rendition in the Lewis style.

This was my mammaws' favorite song, my dad couldn't listen to it after she died. They are both gone now unfortunately but, I sang this song at his funeral as a tribute to the best dad that ever lived.  On a lighter note; this really brings back a sweet time of my life growing up in Kentucky in the 1970s.
