I don't know the meaning behind the song but for me, it a very strong and powerful message. For me, it is a glimpse into my head and and battles and conversations I have on a daily basis while battling severe depression. I have received therapy and help and I now have the tools to manage it, I am also no longer on medication for it, but this is what it was like for me every day, from the moment I woke up to the moment I eventually fell asleep. It is a beautiful song and I love it!
