I had a chance to listen Lera live yesterday in Istanbul, it was nice to hear that song live first time before I watch this video. Her vocals somewhere between Fiona Apple and Florence and it's truly cool and dark. I love her love tones, a single guitar, minimalist and focusing sound. I'm gonna keep up with you.

I'm here cause i love lera since the first time i saw/heard her on true detective. This is a nice song but too closed to many others we can listen to in this period. If i think bout "lately" or "least favorite life", i fell in love with those songs because were unique. Kinda indie hopeless awesome songs. And, bout video, dark horse video could be made for a pop singer like many. Lera is more than that. She is more and special

I'm happy to see her expand more. Pop seems like a natural evolution for Lera. I hope she continues in this direction, though I can tell by the view count that it has cost her some of her audience.

While I kind of agree about this new one, those True Detective tracks aren't like any of her other work at all. So it's a weird comparison for you to make.

I'm glad TD introduced me to Lera, but she has made much more beautiful music outside of those.

@Adam Tregarron it's true Lera Lynn didn't sing and play just true detective songs (but, on my opinion, those songs are the best she did). What it's even true: all the music she did was never pop music. You can call her style urban noir, gothic folk, new generation female country but, in any case, indie. Sometimes indie rock. I know pretty well what i'm talking bout and what i say bout her is not weird! Dark horse, different from all things she made before cause it's a pop track, is just a single and probably she decided to make an experiment, to try something different. Ok. I hope the experiment is over and lera goes back to indie rock. And this is just my opinion.
