Sean imita en todo a su padre; la ropa, los gestos, el peinado, los lentes. Trata de imitarlo en su voz, pero la verdad la voz de Sean da mucha hueva. Tal vez John no tenia una gran voz pero gustaba a mucha gente.

con todo respeto, tu comentario demuestra nada mas que ignorancia, a ver, "porque usa lentes se quiere parecer a john" he visto entrevistas que le hacían cuando era niño, ahí ya usaba lentes, no es "adrede", el tipo tiene problemas de visión, los heredo de su padre(o no me digas que pensabas que su padre los usaba porque le quedaban bien nada mas? entonces si te coronas de ignorante) "porque edita su voz", he visto videos de el en vivo, y su voz es así, esta un poco retocada acá si, pero el básicamente canta así, otra cosa que también heredo de su padre porque hay algo que se llama... genética. Ahora sobre la canción, si ahí si admito que parece querer imitar un poco la formula de su padre, al menos en este disco(te recomiendo que escuches su mas reciente proyecto The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, es mas psicodelico y experimental)pero pregunto, que tiene eso de malo? la canción no es mala, no esta al menos, si vos le das mas importancia a las influencias que tiene que a la calidad de la canción, entonces es prejuicio (por favor! el mismo Lennon tardo en encontrar su estilo, y muchas canciones suyas(solistas) están inspiradas en el blues y el rock de los 50, no quiere decir que sean una copia)

Why all the negativity for Sean?

Emperor's new clothes - and why are people saying he looks like his dad? He looks like his mom with glasses. He can't sing but tries hard to look and sound like his dad, which, lets face it, is old hat nowadays. Even his dad would have moved on from that sound. John Lennon and Cynthia Lennon looked very similar so Julian ended up with his father's looks and voice imo.

El talento es su herencia, si bien el no podrá evitar jamas la comparación con su padre, Sean tiene un estilo propio, y esto le ha servido para mantenerse dentro de la corriente alternativa e incluso el indie. Fan de de Sean? Si, lo soy.

La verdad que esto es basura... una verguenza que lleve el mismo apellido que John, Julian SI tiene talento, este tipo es uno más de tantos miles de mediocres y mal llamados "artistas" de hoy en día.... lo peor es que quiere imitar la voz de John, el look, asco da. @unamek: Le pesa demasiado el apellido...quízá si su padre estuviese vivo él hubiese tenido una mejor influencia musical y quizá ahí hubiese sido mucho mas notorio, de todas formas ser " el hijo de:" les pesa a muchos. Quitando al hijo de Ringo Starr que sin ser renombrado es el baterista de una banda histórica como The Who...y Julian Lennon que en principio ha tenido mucho éxito los otros realmente no son lo que digamos conocidos o notorios.

I enjoyed the song but it's kinda weird. you could make three good songs with that miscellany of chords that I consider totally unnecessary. Well, his style is weird for me and I just can't say he is a good composer. And his voice sounds like a duck or something. I prefer Julian. But Julian was brilliant in the past and today he's just a shadow of what he was in the 80's. What a pity!

I don't get this stuff about him pretending to look like his dad. He's his father's son for goodness sakes. And let's be honest, Sean looks tremendously like John- even if he tried to avoid it. But why should he? Sean's music is beautiful and he has his own talent. I consider John's legacy to be quite in tact, having two very musically gifted sons who happen to write lovely songs. He'd be proud.
