Good Job

This song got me through a lot at the end of 2018, especially the first and second verse. A lot of changes in my life. Now listening back, it's really bittersweet because I associate it with all those negative emotions I had to push through, but it's still truly a beautiful song from real talent.

The transitions in this song are really what makes it for me, as well as the very deft skill that handles the shifts so well.

You guys should check out a band from the 1990s called Jellyfish. They are like The Lemon Twigs, but better in my opinion. They take what the Lemon Twigs are doing and take it a level higher.

A Scott Weiland melody from the sky.

They are trying hard to do Van Dyke Parks' Song Cycle album with this song. Parks achieved this a half-century ago, a real genius. But at least The Lemon Twigs are doing a good simplified approximation. Certainly quite better than the one attempted by Foxygen.
