@King Tuck Ayt man.I sure will.I guess in someway, its a conclusion we can't really come in terms with, but being a Poet naturally, I think words sometimes does not have to be literal before they drive home a point.Mentioning Jesus in a song is good but I think the phrase or word 'Jesus' is not the what defines a music.It should be able to build up people's lives around the concept of God and faith in Jesus but mentioning Jesus although good does not make it the standpoint in arts like music, rap and poetry.For Lecrae, he saying he is not a Christian rapper does not mean he denied the Christian faith.I think it is an important thing to look at.Maybe sometimes we may drift off a little but I think assuming someone has backslidden(not saying you said that though) based on a music style could be quite strong).Hey man we all loved Lecrae's Jesus Musik and stuff, but sometimes we have to give someone time.to evolve to see what he is trying to do.You are right about one thing, the demography, we just have to see how things go.We can then have more understanding to see a man's faith or not..but for now I dont think there is a clear sign of the denial of faith which is quite central, but.if you think he has drifted and not agree with his current music state or craft, I think you have a great need to do so.
