This is art (not another hype for narrow minded men or women) for people who are able to live with deep-grounded feelings! Thank you dear Sirs Page-Plant-Jones-Bonham!!! You may not be interested but the main key or tone-scales are G-Mixolydian and D-Dorian! Dorian tunes and also mixolydian keys were used from the ancient times on to our times. The great vedic saint Narada Muni and later the greek master-mind Pythagoras already explained how these tunes reflect the order of the cosmos. They trigger peace of mind! Therefore these compositions are so smooth! I am thrillred by these heavenly sounds! Led Zeppelin from the beginning brought in a wide spectrum of traditions. Of course blues is always an important component. And then you have Folk-rock-elements and of course anglo-celtic moods and they invented a genious type of heavy-rock and gothic feeling! ("No quarter is composed very heavy, deep triggering our souls; it is of course gothic-rock, very heavy and "The Ocean" is an ideal hard-rock-highpoint with a playful blues-experience).These LZ-members are all genius. They mixed in the best tunes of the main traditions for widening our consciousnes! The proof is that LZ is liked by more and more people because everybody is an eternal spiritual soul without a beginning and no end. Yes we all are eternal god-particles who are triggerd by these cosmic harmonies. I need no other proof than my own experience!!! Everybody is an individual gem-stone in the eternal world with specific aura, taste and mission. For me Led Zeppelin proofs that god is the center for all his children , and everybody is welcome in the radiation of our heavenly Mother-Father-source. This music triggers our souls to god-consciousness. Therefore the LZ-experience happens deep in our souls. The LZ-wonder is based on four Avatares who descended from heaven to boost our minds and souls!!! Sorry for my long statement!!! I try to do it shorter next time! Thank you sir for uploading these wonder-songs in the playground of youtube! This my statement is also especially ment for all the songs of "Houses of the Holy". This album was the main source of inspiration from 1973 to 1980. It was a milestone in music-history: "The song remains the same," "The rain song," "Over the hills and far away", "No quarter" and "The Ocean" build a genius playground for all our fantasies! Of course all LZ-Albums are genius in their own way, different moods. LZ is a miracel, there can be no doubt!

Last but not least here are the main tone-scales of the Rain-song:

G-A-B-C-D-E-F-G (= G-Mixolydian)
D-E-F-G-A-B-C-D (= D-Dorian)

I tryed it out on my keyboard today and played some additional tunes parallel to the song. Try it yourself! It is a natural way to get very peaceful! (Yes that is the miracle: LZ boost our souls with heavy rock-styles , and at the same time they calm us down to a natural way of life with a wide spectrum of fantasies; yes they are great artists of course! Many LZ-songs combine many different styles to new hights!)

Use a -bontempi-keyboard with the following sound-combination: 064 (Syntthetic brass) and 102 (Goblins) and add 24 (Sustain) and 22 (Chorus); style = 011 (New Age), tempo around 085/minute!!!

Sorry I forgot to reflect on the genius cover of the album. My experience is that these children look for higher realms and harmony by climbing these romantic mountains! The cover is a milestone of gothic-rock-expressions! It always inspires me to indulge in higher emotions in the realm of our eternal source (god).
Now my last sentence: My favourite LZ-Song is "Tea for one", a genius blues-creation with sky-rocking Page-Solos, heavy Bonham-nectar, genius bass-lines by Mr. Jones and of course the deepest exressions of Mr. Robert Plant

Houses of the Holy has always been my favorite Led Zeppelin album since I was 16. When I was 18 I threw a paper route in my 84 Ford Thunderbird and I jammed this album all the time. Now listening to Rain Song is always bittersweet .

Composition.......Like No Others.....is what sets These Cats apart in Musical History.....and am I Thankful.... I was in This Era... To Experience these Masterpieces....AS You Listen!!!

Loved Zep since first listen [summer '69, Orinda California.] As time went on their idiotic critics labelled them 'heavy metal'.
