Hey man, I have a suggestion for you. Instead of trying to get your friends to change their ways by telling them that what they are listening to is bad (they will become defensive of their music or whatever) , try to show them better music. Lecrae is great. I'd really suggest NF. Other rappers that have purpose with their music like Flame, Andy Mineo, Propaganda, etc. If it's not rap that your friends like, then look around to find good, purposeful music. Try to give them something good to listen to instead of trying to take away their bad stuff. They will be more likely to be responsive instead of defensive. I'll pray that you will have a lasting, positive effect on your friends.

+JAG 303 all I have to say is that it is a process. It doesn't usually happen overnight. You could also ask them what makes these rappers cool. And where is the substance in their raps. That's only my suggestion. I don't know how to handle a situation like that. Praying will help the most though. God wants to reach them but only He knows how to reach them
