I've looked at myself and seen how disgustingly sinful I am, how often I consciously give in to sin and temptation and don't love Christ the way I should. But instead of looking to ourselves, let's look to Christ who took our sins upon himself in love and felt the wrath of God so we wouldn't have to. Salvation is by grace alone, through Christ alone, brother. Let us remember that and have faith in him. I am praying for you.

This song is so powerful. I used to wish for Christian rap like this and a friend turned me on to Lecrae and he is so deep. It's like he's putting my thoughts into song. My fave lyric on this is 2:05: "You were stabbed, you were murdered and for me is why you bled/but i spit on your bloody face as if I never cared/And Lord how dare I compare my pain/Your Father turned is back, and you were left to hang." Powerful. That whole second verse is tight.
