LaMontagne, Ray - Part Two - Another Day Lyrics

Spring is here, spring is past
The sounds of summer settle in
A snake slips through the grass
Summer play, summer stay
For a while, at least 'till autumn's gray
Gives way to winter's rasp
A while at least till autumn's gray
Gives way to winter's rasp

Under the moon so round
The moon so round
Anyway, there's really not that much to say
It's just another day

Come with me, come and see
The chill, the hush and glimmering
Of green the mountain stream
The chill, the hush and shimmering
Of green the mountain stream

Under the moon so round
The moon so round
Anyway, there's really not that much to say
It's just another day

There's really not that much to say, it's just another day
There's really not that much to say, it's just another day
There's really not that much to say, it's just another day

    Wow, i love this song!

Spring is here, then spring is past.
The sounds of summer settle in,
a snake slips through the grass.
    Summer play.
Summer stay for a while at least 'till Autum's gray,
    gives way to winter's rasp.
A while at least till Autum's gray,
    gives way to winter's rasp
    Under the moon so round.
    The moon, so round.
Anyway, there's really not that much to say,
    it's just another day.
Come with me, come and see
the trill, the hush and glimmering
    of green the mountain stream.
The trill, the hush and shimmering
    of green the mountain stream.
    Under the moon so round.
    The moon, so round.
Anyway, there's really not that much to say,
    it's just another day.
There's really not that much to say, it's just another day.
There's really not that much to say, it's just another day.
There's really not that much to say, it's just another day.

    Carrie Pilby <3

  4. E.... ....

I was just sitting watching a wonderful little movie entitled Carrie Pilby when out of nowhere this song suddenly floated into my senses... I love Ouroboros and bought it soon after its release...  The film which stars Bel Powley in the titular role is well worth watching... This song shows just how classy a film it is.

  5. n.... ....

I heard this one night on a static-ridden radio station and I thought for sure it was an old Donovan tune

  6. G.... N....

There's really not that much to say...

    G.... N....

...it's just another beautiful song by Ray. Passes by in a breath or two, it almost seems. Maybe that's his point.

  7. M.... M....

Definite psychedelic vibe. I hear shades of the Monkees "Porpoise Song" on this one.

  8. T.... D....

Love this song. The sweetest of ballads.

  9. C.... V....

I loooove Ray's voice and every song on Ouroboros is wonderful! This music is sooo soothing. I just lost my sweet Mother this past Feb, so many songs on this cd soothe my aching heart. Thank you Ray for creating such beautiful, unique and wonderful music.
