of course Adam's version is sooooo much better than Kris's. He (Adam) just nailed it and made a great hit, he sang it so beatifully, so penetrating and colorfully and gave a brightness to this song. Kris performed it much ordinary and plain, his version' s good but a lot mediocre. Adam should have won the AI and I still don't know how Kris won there, cause Kris is simple pop-country singer with nice but rather simple and dull voice, while Adam is pop-rock God and vocal god and he is freaking awesome and gorgeous, with terrific voice

Kris won just because Adam was gay. So sad but true. American didn't like Adam although he was more talented than Kris could ever be

This song was a litmus test for a great singer and artist. I heard the version by Kris Allen and Kara Dioguardi and both of them feel like bad karaoke compared to Adam.

Adam is truly in a different league as a vocalist and entertainer. I just wish he'd find himself in his artistry. His renditions of Queen aren't up to par and his solo career produced songs that were honestly not that great. Combine his vocals with a phenomenal composer and you have gold.

Broken Pieces might be his best song to date.

Sorry  ...  this song will always remain in my heart as belonging to ADAM!!  He sang it so beautifully & put his own spin on it  ...  his vocals were perfect  ...  his rendition was/is spine-tingling.  When Kris sang it  ...  well  ... it's all water under the bridge now but  ...  ADAM nailed it  ... Kris did not!!  JMO

I feel exactly the same! And I will say that although it's in the past, I have to mention that to me, Kris didn't sing the song half as good as Adam did. Even I've gotten to the point where it's too easy to sing the way Kris did, but with Adam's version I still can't sing the song in one go. Adam is just so good! He's my favorite singer/band now!

IKR! Both sing great. just that there are songs w/c fits one of them better than the other one. Adam's version of no boundaries is better though, you can really feel the emotion in the song.
