I was about 13 years old not into metal other than Metallica but nothing else mattered lol I was just flipping through the channels and seen Headbangers Ball never heard of it before and Trivium “Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation” was on and I was like holy fuck this is crazy! Then this and was on during commercials with one of those razzle dazzle commercials “Lacuna Coil’s new album” blah blah and I seen the title “Heavens a Lie” and as a kind of country boy I was oh hell no I’ve slipped into hell! I always thought it was funny looking back because I listen to Infant Annihaltor, Vulvodanyia like mostly slam bands now lmao

Ahhhh 😍 I'm so excited to see lacuna coil at download 2020 in Sydney 😊 gosh I have been a fan since I was a youngen, I remember when this album was released!! Over a decade ago I used to work after school at a fast food joint for less than 6 Australian dollars an hour, I'd always save my money to buy a cd. I first heard of lacuna coil listening to full metal racket on raw fm Tuesday nights. I'd always go to school on Wednesday so tired because I'd stay up until full metal racket finished. Once I heard lacuna coil on full metal racket I saved up to buy all the albums 😊 I've not had the opportunity to see them live before now and I'm so excited to experience their live show and be apart of their musical evolution in person from when I first heard their music over 10 years ago. I even have all the cds I bought to listen to lacuna coil when cds where a thing 😊
