The funny thing about major pop culture events or scenes is that while it seems like it was everywhere, it wasn’t. There were very few people that looked like the people in these videos in my area. In fact most of these artists didn’t walk around with big hair and tights in their everyday lives. Watch decline of western civilization: the metal years. Check out the people in the parking lot. People looked more like that in everyday life.

I still dress the same way I did 25 year ago, which was the in style. It never went out of fashion. T-shirt, jeans, leather or jean jacket, black high top sneakers.

Just listening to the guitar solo takes me back to the late 80s, when I was discovering bands like this for the first time and going to concerts. Damn, I miss those days!

we used to dress like this style in this video that they talk about. it's over the top on here or larger than life, but it's the style like holllywood sunset strip. it hs a good beat to it. we knew this girl who dropped out of school to be a hooker and we said she's stupid and all. but we said if you were gonna be a hooker you should dress like this and not be a stupid hooker. she didn't wanna meet the girls at our school who dressed like this who we were copying though so she never saw their clothes. in hollywood lots of rock bands were trying to get famous and there's groupies and they dress like glammed up and the bands copied or they copied ht bands. they copy each other or something. to get it to sell. we'd walk by the tv our granmdmother would say that girl looks like you... she looks like you - clothes or wahtever- if our hair was curly only- that may be another video. That hollywood video by junkyard or something else on here. but it's all same kinda. shoes and all. yes she doesn't know the styles either. yes we dressed like them. we never been tehre, but some people from the school were out there. they came back sick with aids from it. that girl though in our town she didn't like the kind of music like this anyway! but she might like them and she likes groupie stuff she liked that if she saw what they said went on out there. she liked that stuff. people who don't liike the music will pretend coz it it lis like what hookers will play sometimes somehow and they play it to attract people to hire them. our big brother used to do that but he only everl iked elvis! he hated this stuff-maybe soe he thought was okay but not much. just elvis! actually a guy in a band said- motley crue said ? girls like those clothes and that's why they wore it - someone said that on TV. the glam style. they tried to tell us not to dress that way and they were seniors and we were a freshman. and then we found a store sold clotehs like that and they tried to tell us not to buy those clothes, too. then there's some guy out there saying 9th graders shouldn't be out there? kids - they see you as a kid. what in the heck they acted like it's weird but we liked the music so much it seemed like that so we wanted to wear it and all. that other girl and us were never really friends and that did not last. we didn't wanna be groupies so she took off and her family didn't like us also.

They needed an extra guy to play a photographer in the video.. (Time line 1:28) can see him really good... They rocked that night playing on that stage..
