I got obsessed with this song like six years ago. I was starting to play guitar, and wanted to play this, since I was fascinated by the beauty of the tune and the guitar parts. Also, my best friend and me started a spiritual path by then. We wanted to bring a positive change to the world. No need to say that psychedelics were involved. The thing with a spiritual awakening is that, after you find this light and happiness, peace and joy, there are hard times waiting for you, because there are negative emotions and subconscious patterns you might not be ready to face. Depression came along, and so did suicidal thoughts and drug abuse. I remember these hard times, talking to my best friend, who I think is an angel who came to this world to spread some light, always finding words of hope coming out of his soul, and listening to Kyuss while we smoked marijuana and talked about the change we wanted to be in the World. I wanted to be a rock star by the time I was 25. Now I'm 27 and haven't even played in a band hahahaha. But I'm still searching for my soul and I think I gon' be alright.
