The only song I knew by Krokus for years was Ballroom Blitz and I never liked that song and I wrote the band off. Just recently I got a greatest hits of the band and they are pretty bad ass. Very ACDC sounding lots of real catchy old school hard rock and metal. This songs seems like another one of their weaker songs. Looks like the band didn't do a good job of picking singles and song to make videos out of. The band is better then this song and Ballroom Blitz.

My first concert ever, in high school, and Krokus opened for Def Lepard on the Pyromania tour. It was in the Jacksonville coliseum and the lights went completely out while Marc was onstage. He cussed out the lighting technicians and carried on not missing a beat once they got it fixed. They were AMAZING!!

I just started singing and because of all this "The Voice" bullshit, everyone is watching singing vids so my sub count went from 15K to now 180K in no time. Funny, because I'm not really a great singer but I do a lot of work in the mix process to make it sound as good as I can. I'm really a guitarist. @TruthSurge I have used auto tune just to try it out, but it only works if you miss the notes, and I don't miss them enough to use it, but that being said, when it gets used it becomes obvious fast because people sound like robots. You don't sound like a robot, so either you figured out how to fix that or you are being humble.

Congrats on your channels explosion and do you have tutorials of all the engineering techniques you do? I would LOVE to watch those. I know you are being humble about your voice, but your do mix up some nice stuff, would love to learn the recipe!

@TheRadioAteMyTV ref auto-tune, I can hit my pitches pretty well so I technically wouldn't have to use it but it helps like.... like polishing helps after sanding with 1500 grit sandpaper. ? For me, it's just an extra 5% pitch accuracy that would not have been there w/o it. But I make sure to not push it up so far that you can hear it but in a couple of vids, I failed at that and there is a hint of it where I could point it out but most people prob won't notice. ANOTHER tip.... inside your DAW, create an ENVELOPE for the auto-tune RATE of correction, so on certain spots you can increase the amount of auto-tune, and lower it in others dynamically do it instead of always the same. That way on fall offs you turn it way down so it won't try to correct that to notes, etc. Yeah, trolls... I don't ignore them, I just feed them their own asses for a while then ignore them. :)

@TruthSurge My DAW is Audacity, so feel free to laugh now. I use its autotune for one track and then play it in one ear while the other ear is the raw track. I am not married to it, and I don't use it much. I will definitely look into that search you mentioned.

@TheRadioAteMyTV well, whatever works. I use Reaper. I like it. I wish I had some isolating headphones. But each one I tried I did not like. The bass was like 1000 times too loud. Maybe I'll try again one day.
