@thychaos "Standard Thrash lyrics" doesn't mean they're not awesome. Thrash Metal is AWESOME and       Kreator's lyrics are above standard in my opinion. This is one of my favourite songs of theirs \m/

here are some lyrics i find impressive:

THAT is good lyricism. its poetic, its ambiguous, the words paint a powerful picture without beating you over the head with an overly obvious message. Kreator's lyrics dont make any clever observations, they dont have any clever wordplay, they dont evoke any sort of poetic awe (in me at least). theyre just straightforward and to the point. they have the finesse and subtlety of a jackhammer. which is fine, this is thrash, i expect this. but the lyrics, to me, are not impressive at all. they are standard thrash fare.

Secondly: the transmission, the message of this lyrics is not a thing that you can measure by 'technical' style of writing cause the dose of truth that this text contains is not generally known by majority or even few percent of people. thats not the point, you were saying how the lyrics were so awesome when really theyre just standard thrash lyrics. the lyrics fit the music but theyre still nothing special. and i know thats from a different album, its just one example of a bad lyric.

there are way more words than 'melodic' or 'heavy' to describe a band (besides every metal band is kinda heavy per definition). it's like if i'd say: 'listen to slayer if you wanna hear drums'.
