@Katie Brooks its got a couple okay songs but most of it is filler. Same with Creatures of the night and revenge. I honestly think every single song on Carnival of Souls is really good.

Not a big fan of the current lineup, but Gene was awesome on Sonic Boom. This song is the best song on that album, IMO.

THIS is not Kiss.....it's Gene and Paul with a couple studio musicians that got lucky......Bring back Ace and Peter!! Then again, this song is kinda catchy!

I wish I had seen this comment 6 years ago when it was posted but like they say, better late than never. Studio musicians???? Seriously??? Maybe you haven't heard of Black Sabbath, Black & Blue, Lita Ford, Badlands, Alice Cooper....just a few of the artists that either Eric or Tommy TOURED with......and, oh yeah, Eric also toured as part of Paul Stanley's solo band. So calling them studio musicians is uneducated. But, I'll give you a solid C+ for your efforts.

The Elder is way better than Sonic Boom. The Elder was trying something new, and something much more experimental and progressive. Sonic Boom is just trying to make the same glam rock from 1976 in 2010...it's a good effort and some good stuff on the album but it's a worn out sound.

Russian Roullette and Modern Day Delilah are awesome tunes on this CD...too bad the remaining songs on the CD are totally lame.

This sucks.I like that they went back to their 70s style, but the songs are weak compared to Love her all I can, Mr. Speed, Dr. Love etc. And the Ace and Peter impersonators are weird. Even Thayer's style is Ace ripped off. They aren't a serious band that is moving forward like when Bruce and the Erics were in the band.

Gene has a monstrous bass tone. It's so awesome! Great song.

Genes are all good and capture the seventies feel. Pauls I believe fall short. Paul's remind me of Crazy Nights and Hot in the Shade. Gene's and Eric's on this album hit the number.

Never really listened to Kiss, I only know a few songs by them, but so far Sonic Boom seems pretty cool, I love the bass tone in this song
