It doesn’t sound like the beginning of kill the king by Megadeth.. It's only Open E string which sounds similar 🤘💀

I have to say that there is something wrong with this album recordings, its too discant (no bass). Abigail is with the better sound... Have to admit that I´m not a "sound professional" but a bit disappointment with THEM sound. Whats Yours feelings about it?

Look, I love bass as much as anyone, in fact I play Bass guitar.
I love a deep sound in music, but to be be honest, this album doesnt really need it that much.
But that is the beauty of music, isnt it? It's up to you what you like. Personally, this is my favorite King album, closely followed by Spider's Lullabye and Abigail.

Everytime I play one of my old Roadrunner records cd's again I am amazed at how fucking little bass they recorded on their masters.
It is like half the music is missing. The bass sounds are an important part of the sound, even for metal.
They mixed their LP's with much more dynamic sound.
Nothing a bit of equalization cannot kinda fix, but it would have been much better had they mixed some more in.

Yeah this is poorly mixed. Ashame because its such a beaurtiful masterpiece.
