Edward Burrows I think she enjoyed her time with RAK, but being involved with MCA must’ve been a rough time. They expected so much out of her and they screwed over her schedule with Love Moves in 1990. She gave her best though and she pulled through. She was tough enough to conquer their demands, but obviously had to abide by some of them because of contractual obligation.

Both are incredible, came across that remix just yesterday, sounds so fresh and modern. '88 edit seems to be more dancy-feeling in opposition to more loveable melody and slower tempo of original "Another Step" release.

Hidden gem - one of her best in my book.

This was the B side to 4 Letter Word! I had the 7" when I was about 8 years old, loved this song. I remember I stood on the record and cracked it but it still worked :)

With that said, if they do reissue close, they should include this mix there, afterall is was the Four Letter Word B-Side.

this was on teh Four Letter Word single B-side, and i really am clueless to why Cherry Pop didn't include this on the Another Step remaster, rather than 8 other versions of Say Your Really Want Me (most of which sound the same) LOL!

yes, that's what I mean. I may be wrong on this, but when " keep me hanging " song came out, for some reason I keep remembering a different cover than anythng else that is currently available, which had the slower version of this song. It seems to me like they are just no longer in print or whatever or I'm just tripping.but looking through the song list on the available albums, it really seems like they just don't make that album anymore. Pre-CD too

...don't you just mean the album version? It seems slower than the remix, but it's just more simple beats compared to the remix's funkier beats. I have the album version too on the "Another Step" CD.

Seems like I'm not the only one that remembers that there was a different version of this song, a slower version. I have been trying to find it, but I think it's gone forever. I actually preffer the slower version. really reminds me of a time.

I wonder if this was an un-released single version... it's probably a 1987 remix but just marked as 1988 to look better on the "Four Letter Word" release.

Don't know what it is about her voice, but its magic. Want to find the original version of this though... its a nice remix but I'm nostalgic for the original.
