There's a lot more clipping in the distortion to this song than the rest of the album. What's up with that? The mixing got way worse going from the previous track to this track. Am I the only one hearing the massive drop in audio clarity?

I switched off my phone immediately and think about how great the song was
I was maybe overreacting but that really happened lol

They could use some rawness and a bit of groove. Every band should have an album where the songwriting is just a little more laid back and fun, not like some epic work of perfection, but a group of guys writing whatever the heck they want to and recording it. Examples: Frail Words Collapse by As I Lay Dying, In Waves by Trivium, Sleep City by Rest, Repose, Ironiclast by The Damned Things, Dead Throne by The Devil Wears Prada, Periphery (1) by Periphery, The Great Misdirect by Between The Buried and Me. I don't feel like Killswitch has an album like that. Every one of theirs is trying to out do the last one and be profound and perfect. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's nice to have something more laid back. I think "Starting Over" from Howard's last album with them has this feel, but I wish they had a whole album like that. Idk, I'm ready for something new like that, not trying to be the most heavy or technical or profound, but written with raw passion and enjoyment.

Don’t get me wrong, I love this song, but something about it is the worst song on the album... not sure if the chorus feels weak or something like that.

Was just going to post that, but thought I'd check the comments to see if anyone else thought the same first.

It's funny 'cause I was watching some behind the scenes stuff from KSE and they had the chance to open for In Flames but Jesse said no because he didn't know them at the time (WAY back in the early 2000's). After the chance passed, he listened to them and deeply regretted it lol

In my opinion this album is their worst to date, the guitar work is shoddy at best and this is coming from a self taught guitarist whom of which has been playing for 11 years now.

Its a great song, but the clean vocals are super low in the mix!
