This band is fucking incredible. Been a fan ever since Alive or Just Breathing, in love with the KSE sound with both Howard and Jesse as the lead. Recently I saw this band live and lost my mind so hard I went from singing along to the clean vocals to screaming right along with them. I didn't event know I could scream.  guess they just got so much adrenaline pumping through me that I couldn't help it!This band is so empowering and encouraging and I can't get enough. This album is a masterpiece and I can't stop listening to it!

This& the great deceit are 2 of my favorite songs on this great album. Lyrically you have to give it to Jess. His lyrics go deeper than Howard. I like Howard I just thought he never stops singing about relationships. There's enough of that in this world. I find Jesse's lyrics intelligent & inspirational on this album. Plus this album would be good top to bottom live.

Meh this new album was pretty bland and boring basically the same riffs and progression on every song. This song and a couple of others I really liked. This is probably my favorite track off this album.

got my pre-order bundle in the mail with deluxe edition of Incarnate. all of these songs that theyve released so far are on the 1st half of the album. second half of the album is much heavier.

Howard Jones would cry... of shame while listening to this album. Only 2 good songs so far, the rest is pure crap. Definitely not their best album, and it's not better than Disarm the Descent, at all.

Hadn't heard it before and I looked and you're right. Slightly different riff but I hear it. Time signature, quadruple-whatever note scales similar etc.

+Hugo Stiglitz we really disagree on EoHA. I think that album was seminal to metalcore. And why are you selling their first album so short? Irreversal is one of their best tracks

@Michael Conroy I agree. Irreversal is in my top 3, I think only just barely breathing and Rise Inside are better but as a whole, their first album wasn't that great.

Why are you selling DTD and Incarnate so short? They're amazing albums and the best they've done since AOJB

But EoHA is not seminal to metalcore at all. Go watch their documentary, AOJB was seminal to metalcore and infinitely more influential to metalcore than any other album, EOHA just rode its coat tails. As a whole EOHA is very weak and even its best songs really aren't that great but it also had a lot more mediocre songs mixed in than a lot of their other albums too. The first 6 were good on EOH, but after that, only World Ablaze and Hope Is... are really good songs. The rest were kind of weak so it's impossible to rate EoH over even As Daylight Dies IMO. ADD really only had 1 or 2 mediocre songs on it. Desperate times is the only one that comes to mind. Same with DTD, none of those songs are mediocre actually IMO. Maybe Always but that's it. Same with Incarnate.

well i said COULD. my fav KSE albums are alive or just breathing, end of heartache and as daylight dies. i just love all the tracks from this album so far. the lyrics and overall energy is awesome.

and idk, even Take This Oath, my favorite on that album isn't one of their best songs IMO. Just with Howard alone I can think of a number of songs I think are better let alone with Jesse.

I prefer Jesse in a huge way so that's a factor but even out of howards material, I'm just not a huge fan of EoH. ADD was great though IMO. One of their best musically for sure. Incarnate is pretty amazing musically too. Their riff's are better than ever

Musically, AOJB is much simpler than their newer stuff but it's still the best by far. Odd how that works.
