I love this track but it is, in my opinion, an extremely modern dubstep track. I don't hear any of the old school sounds you're talking about, though I do hear some "proper dubstep," whatever that means in late 2015.

I was a few scared about this album because i wasn't expecting something huge, but damn i was wrong, this full album is amazing. This is how jake show us that he is still an excellent producer as he always has been. so much respect for him for creating such an awesome album like this one. Personally even if i love the entire album, this song got me, is pretty emotional and is a kind of old school dubstep that actually is not that common as in the past was.
