Kesha is undoubtedly my favorite musical artist, but this song hits me on an existential level. It bears a lot of personal meaning for me. Sometimes we fall so deeply in love with someone and for one reason or another, we have to go our separate ways, but we still carry a piece of those memories with us forever, knowing we may never see that person again for the rest of our lives. It's just extremely bittersweet to me. Kesha has indirectly done so much for me through her music. #alwaysafan

You guys this was like and might still be my favorite son from the album but there was a very obvious reason why this was not released. IMO it would have made a perfect 5th winter 2013 single. ("Die young" 1st winter 2012, "thinking of you" 2nd spring 2013, "c'mon" 3rd summer, "crazy kids" 4th fall.)

But this wasn't released because t is soooo different from her prior music (almost a ballad) it would have been risky as an early single since sonically it's so different. That said it is a great song.
